Job Description

Chester Automatics is a busy and highly respected automatic transmission specialist workshop with over 50 years in the trade. We are looking to recruit for two roles to help the business deal with growth experienced over the last couple of years.

The first role is for a transmission fitter.

The main duties of the role include diagnostics, transmission servicing and the removal & refitting of automatic transmissions.

The following skills are highly desirable:

A working knowledge of vehicles with experience of working in a busy automotive workshop. Full UK driving license. Experience of using vehicle diagnostics equipment. Prior experience working on VAG vehicles would be advantageous. Own tools will be required.
The second role is for a transmission specialist. The right candidate will be a time served technician with extensive main dealer experience who can bring new skills and knowledge to the role. Experience working with automatic transmissions is extremely desirable, however full training is also on offer.

We are happy to offer additional in-house training as well as industry recognised training courses.

Working hours are 8am-5pm Monday to Friday with 1 hour for lunch.
Hourly rate is negotiable depending on experience.

Our workshop is situated on the Hawarden Industrial Park, off Manor Lane in Hawarden.

Experience is highly desirable but not essential as full training will be given for the right candidate
