Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Auxiliary to join our healthcare team. The Nursing Auxiliary plays a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support within our facility. This position requires a strong commitment to enhancing the well-being of patients while working collaboratively with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

Assist with daily patient care activities, including bathing, dressing, and feeding. Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to the nursing staff. Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, fostering a positive environment. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of patient areas, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment. Assist in the movement of patients as required, using appropriate techniques to ensure safety. Help with administrative tasks such as maintaining patient records and documentation. Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not essential. Strong knowledge of anatomy and basic medical terminology is advantageous. Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and empathy. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Flexibility to work various shifts as required by the facility.
