AV Lead


Full Time, Permanent position



Job Purpose


The Onsite Audio-Visual Partner is responsible for owning, operating, and supporting all physical and digital technologies within the PITCH co-creation space. The role ensures the site has the right technology, skills, and support in place to enable effective collaboration, workshops, and events.


Working closely with the Marketing team and Central Co-Creation stakeholders, the role maximises the use of AV, IT, and design technologies to enhance group engagement, storytelling, and creative output.



Key Accountabilities

Act as the onsite lead for all AV, IT, and design technologies, including training, utilisation, and first-line support Partner with Central Co-Creation Marketing Managers and Director to ensure technology is used effectively and appropriately Support the Marketing team in enhancing workshop narratives using templates, content, and technology Prepare and support presentations and materials for plenary sessions, events, and workshops Manage weekly content displayed across all onsite screens Build strong working relationships with Workplace Services, IT, and other support teams to resolve incidents efficiently


Key Responsibilities


Technology

Maintain strong working knowledge of all AV, IT, and R&D equipment onsite Act as first-fix point of contact for physical and digital technology issues Escalate 2nd and 3rd line issues to appropriate teams Deliver training to internal and external users on all relevant technologies Support local IT teams and category stakeholders as required

Design

Liaise with internal and external designers ahead of workshops and events Maintain studio digital assets (fonts, image libraries, render maps, etc.) Manipulate and create artwork using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop Operate and support WATCHOUT (Dataton) multi-display systems

Events

Provide AV and technology support for presentations, workshops, and events Support VC, web-based collaboration, and audio platforms De-rig and store mobile AV equipment following events

Health, Safety & Compliance

Comply with all Health, Safety, Environmental, and Fire regulations Report incidents and non-conformances in a timely manner Ensure all legal and company HSE requirements are met


Skills, Experience & Qualifications


Essential Skills

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Proven problem-solving and diagnostic ability Ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment Flexible approach to working hours, including out-of-hours event support


Technical Experience

AV control systems (AMX, Crestron) WATCHOUT (Dataton) multi-display systems Video projection and VC platforms (Cisco / Tandberg) IP networking, patching, and collaboration platforms Apple (macOS/iOS) and Microsoft Windows & Office Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) Filming, photography, and video editing Basic electrical/mechanical knowledge and soldering
