The Role




As an AV Project Manager at Hutchi, you'll play a central role in delivering technically complex projects across the UK. You'll bring structure, clarity, and confidence to every stage of delivery -- from pre-start through installation and commissioning to final handover.


This is a hands-on role, working closely with internal teams, clients, and third-party stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, to specification, and are commercially sound.


What You'll Be Doing




Working closely with Technical Sales to fully understand project scope, drawings, specifications, and constraints Managing customer communication, including attendance at pre-start, progress, and handover meetings Owning installation programmes and coordinating scheduling of resources to meet key milestones Coordinating project teams, providing clear direction and support to ensure high-quality delivery Arranging for procurement and deliveries, managing variations, and overall project profitability Tracking financial performance and maintaining commercial control throughout the project lifecycle Producing, implementing, and enforcing RAMS and maintaining high health & safety standards on site Coordinating with third-party suppliers, client IT teams, and other contractors as required

What You'll Bring




Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong problem-solving ability and confident, pragmatic decision-making Proven experience delivering AV projects (experience with access control, IT infrastructure, or feature lighting is an advantage) Project management experience within AV, ideally in a fit-out or construction-led environment A collaborative approach, working effectively with Sales, Design, Installation, and Service teams Solid commercial awareness, including cost control and variation management Resilience, adaptability, and a customer-focused mindset Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required Project management certification is beneficial but not essential
