Job summary
We are looking for an
AV/IT & Sales Project Manager
to join us and be part of a professional team to project manage the AV/Event IT production of events at the Centre.
Ideally you will have a background in Corporate live events; be experienced in the Technical & AV set- up for a range of event types ensuring all events are compliant with current health and safety guidance and legislation; strong communication skills to collaborate with all stakeholders to achieve client satisfaction whilst achieving our financial & sales targets. You will need to have competent working knowledge of CAD and relevant Creative Cloud Software.

Job Purpose

The AV/IT Sales & Project Manager will need to come from a corporate live events background with the relevant hands-on knowledge and experience of the technical and AV/IT set-up for a range of event types. Reporting to the Senior Audio-Visual Project Manager, this role is responsible for delivering financial targets related to the contracting of AV equipment and services, as well as managing pre-sold AV packages.

Attend client requirement meetings to understand technical and creative needs.
Advise on creative solutions for audio-visual and IT

Produce detailed technical specifications for events.
Have a competent working knowledge of CAD and relevant Creative Cloud software.
Other duties as may be required by the Senior AV/IT Sales & Project Manager or in their absence, the Head of AV & Event IT.
Health and Safety

To be aware of and adhere to all health and safety guidance and policies issued by the Centre, particularly those relating to events
To work with QEII Live management to ensure risk assessment/method statement completed for activities within AVPM scope
To report any breaches by sub-contractors and freelancers, to QEII Live management or H&S Officer
Understand the emergency evacuation procedure for staff and for clients
Fire warden duties

Additional information: the post holder may, in the course of their duties, be required to travel to meet clients, attend conferences, business meetings etc. this may, on occasion, require overnight stays where necessary
