We are seeking a highly skilled Audio Visual Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, installing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of audio visual and telecommunication systems. Responsibilities



Install, configure, and maintain audio visual systems including CCTV, VoIP, and telecommunication equipment. Conduct network installation and integration involving Ethernet, Cisco routers, Juniper devices, and other networking hardware. Interpret schematics and technical drawings to ensure accurate system setup and troubleshooting. Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on audio visual equipment and computer hardware. Assist with the installation of network infrastructure such as switches, routers, and cabling to support AV systems. Troubleshoot complex issues related to CCTV surveillance, Avaya communication systems, and Cisco networking equipment. Utilise hand tools and electrical knowledge for system assembly, repairs, and modifications. Document system configurations, modifications, and repairs accurately for future reference. Collaborate with clients and team members to deliver seamless AV solutions tailored to specific requirements.

Requirements



Proven experience with CCTV systems, Avaya communication platforms, Juniper networks, Cisco routers, Ethernet cabling, VoIP technology, and computer networking. Strong electrical experience with the ability to interpret schematics and work safely with electrical components. Proficiency in network installation including cable management and hardware configuration. Familiarity with telecommunication systems and equipment repair techniques. Ability to use hand tools effectively for installation and maintenance tasks. Knowledge of computer hardware setup and troubleshooting. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in system documentation. Relevant certifications or training in electrical engineering or telecommunications are desirable but not essential.
