Job Summary:



We are seeking an experienced and skilled Network Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex Networks systems, ensuring seamless integration and operation with all services. This role requires technical expertise, strong project management and clear client communication skills.

Key Responsibilities -



Design and Engineering:



Develop detailed network designs and specifications tailored to client needs. Create schematics, signal flow diagrams, and technical drawings where required. Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices. A clear focus on Cyber Security and Reliability.

Installation and Integration:



Oversee the installation, configuration, and commissioning of Networks and IT Solutions. Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely project completion. Perform system testing, servicing and troubleshooting to guarantee optimal performance. Ensure everything is clearly labelled physically, in software, documentation and following company protocol.

Project Management:



Lead Network / IT projects from inception to completion, managing timelines, budgets, and resources. Conduct site surveys and needs assessments. Provide regular project updates and reports to senior personnel. Manage Van stock levels.

Maintenance and Support:



Develop and implement maintenance schedules for Network equipment. Provide technical support and training to end-users and internal staff. Provide remedial and pre-emptive remote and on site maintenance. Address and resolve system issues promptly to minimise downtime.

Team Leadership and Development:



Mentor and train junior engineers and technicians. Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies and security protocols to continually enhance personal & company capabilities.

Knowledge & Experience:



Minimum of 3 years of experience in the Network / IT industry, with a focus on system design, installation, and project management. Strong understanding of network systems. Network systems such as Cisco, Meraki, Ruckus, Unifi, Araknis, HP / Aruba, Netgear etc. An extremely conscious and proactive awareness to Cyber Security. Ability to do research and constantly evolving knowledge on this topic. Knowledge of wireless Point to Point installations. Knowledge of residential AV systems control - Sonos, Control 4, Crestron, RTI. Knowledge of other IP systems such as IP Phones, SIP, Door entry (Doorbird / 2N / SSS), CCTV (Lilin, Luma, HikVision, Dahua. The ability to read and work from schematic drawings, highlight and record any amendments. Record all relevant documentation for a project and follow company protocols. Strong ability to terminate and test Cat5e/6/6a/7 Cables. Strong understanding of Fibre types and equipment. Excellent problem-solving skills - with an attitude to get the bottom of any technical issues and attention to detail. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Ensures a high-quality finish on all projects, with thorough labelling and cable management. Confident ability to mount equipment like access points, racks etc. on a variety of surfaces. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as needed. A clean and current driving licence. Must be polite, presentable, patient and be able to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing. Be aware of sensitive environments and special care of a client's and or business property. Keenness to learn new skills and consistently evolve with the company. Honesty and discretion, with high levels of integrity
