Paint Technician

Days - Monday-Thursday, 40 hours per week

Aeroco Group is a leading commercial Aircraft Component Repair Station based in Stockport. A fantastic opportunity has arisen to strengthen our Hangar team based at Manchester Airport and to support the growth of our business.

We are currently looking for a Paint Technician with at preferably at least two years of working experience within an aerospace/automotive environment.

You will be carrying out on-wing internal and external paint tasks in accordance with organisational and industry standards. You must have a flexible attitude to become a versatile, multi-skilled individual who can work across different manufacturing functions within the business.

Main responsibilities:

The role will require the successful applicant to:

Have the ability to use water based specialist paints and epoxy primers to a high standard To understand, and work from technical data Use spraying equipment and carry out general maintenance of all associated equipment. Carry out the masking of components and component preparation prior to painting Possess an understanding of batch control for traceability and audit purposes Ensure deadlines are met and able to respond to time critical jobs appropriately Self-manage their workload to ensure the needs of the business are met. Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
