We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Consultant to join our dynamic IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud solutions primarily on Amazon Web Services (AWS), while leveraging expertise in various operating systems and cloud platforms. Responsibilities

Develop and deploy scalable, secure, and reliable cloud-based solutions using AWS services. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design architecture that aligns with business needs and technical standards. Manage and optimise cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability and cost-efficiency. Integrate AWS solutions with other platforms such as Azure, Windows, Linux, and Oracle databases. Write and maintain automation scripts using Java, Python, or other relevant programming languages. Implement DevOps practices including continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Develop and consume APIs to facilitate seamless integration between different systems and services. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements in accordance with SDLC best practices. Maintain documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures for compliance and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

Proven experience working with AWS cloud services and architecture design. Strong knowledge of operating systems including Windows and Linux environments. Familiarity with Azure cloud platform is desirable. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java and Python. Experience working within IT environments involving SDLC methodologies. Knowledge of databases such as Oracle is advantageous. Understanding of DevOps tools and practices for automation and deployment pipelines. Excellent understanding of APIs for system integration purposes. Relevant certifications in AWS or cloud computing are preferred but not mandatory. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
