Responsibilities
Refine our infrastructure as code (Terraform) and associated CI/CD pipelines. Support developers in making changes going forward.
Play a key role in introducing a culture of infrastructure as code and enforce through appropriate tooling.
Critically review and where necessary enhancing our existing security stance.
Work with the development team to introduce application-level observability solutions (e.g. CloudWatch, Datadog)
Optimise infrastructure to reduce our AWS costs
Ensure smooth running of handful of EC2 instances
5+ years of experience in DevOps
Strong knowledge of cloud-native architecture principles
Deep understanding of AWS services and architecture
Experience with infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, pulumi)
Strong knowledge of security best practices in AWS cloud environments
Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Datadog)
Experience with serverless architecture and services (e.g., AWS Lambda)
Linux admin and basic shell scripting
* Ability to work 3 days a week onsite in our London office
