Position overview: We are looking for a Senior Solution Architect to strengthen our AWS Partnership team in the UK. We seek a candidate with deep technical expertise and experience in building complex systems based on AWS cloud, who will be at the forefront of consulting and guiding our clients, as well as helping us develop predefined AWS solutions. This role is part of the AWS Partnership team and will involve working closely with Partnership Sales and Business Development colleagues, as well as overseeing delivery teams during AWS solutions implementations. The role requires the ability to visit clients in the UK (primarily London) and Ireland to support face-to-face meetings and AWS-specific live events when needed. For the remainder of the time, the successful candidate can work remotely within the UK.


Responsibilities: Play a leading role in the development and improvement of DataArt's AWS capabilities, including Migration, DevOps, Application Modernization projects, etc. This capability development Lead cloud design efforts based on industry standards and best practices, improvement of DevOps capabilities, automation, CI/CD pipeline construction, and test coverage Contribute to and provide technical leadership in complex technical presales on opportunities that require deep knowledge of AWS services and best practices Provide leadership and guidance to DataArt delivery teams of Cloud Engineers with AWS migrations and cloud transformation engagements for their respective customer accounts Work closely and collaboratively with teams and manage all customer and internal stakeholders effectively, providing visibility and transparency so that appropriate action can be taken with decisions for the solution, problem solving, and decision making Apply experience and judgement at a senior stakeholder level using assertiveness and influencing skills to demonstrate business benefits and to ensure the decision is fully understood and accepted


15+ years of relevant professional experience and at least 7 years of hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure Extensive experience with AWS services, focusing on migration, DevOps, and application modernization Strong skills in cloud architecture design, automation, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code (CloudFormation, Terraform) Proven leadership in guiding Cloud Engineer teams through AWS migrations and transformations Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills, with ability to influence decisions and demonstrate business value Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer-focused mindset
