Job Description

Working as part of Synechron\'s Senior Consulting Team, we require an Azure Cloud Architect to collaboratively engage with this a long-standing financial client of ours who are in partnership with Microsoft, engaging in a 10+ year, $600 million project. After a notable acquisition, the Microsoft partnership is expected to significantly increase revenue growth via a number of new product streams.

The Azure Cloud Architect will ideally have a background in financial services or banking, or another regulated area, and with enterprise-level cloud migrations and data analytics experience. We are looking for an organised self-starter who can work with minimal supervision, pay attention to detail, and can follow tasks through to completion.

Remote/Office Work: This is dependent on client workload and their requirement for this hire to be present in the office, but we expect that this will be more remote than office based. You may find that you\'re in the office for 2 days one week then you work remotely for the entire next week. This isn\'t a role for someone who wants to be totally remote. Offices are in the City of London.

Key Skills and Experience:

• A strong background with Azure Cloud and data environments, migrations, and development
• A background in financial services and large-scale enterprise
• Knowledge of large-scale, global enterprise architecture and engineering
• Designing and delivering systems based on Azure IaaS and PaaS
• Experience with Datamodelling solutions
• Skilled in Azure DevOps, ARM templates, and Active Directory
• Knowledge and experience with Java or C#, PowerShell or Bash, Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and working in Agile environments
• Automating build and release pipelines
• Working on global initiatives with teams and stakeholders across multiple locations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
