Your Role and Responsibilities: As the chosen Azure Data Engineering Contractor, you will be entrusted with crucial responsibilities in driving the successful execution of Azure cloud solutions. Your tasks will encompass:

  • Collaborating closely with multifunctional teams to comprehend data requirements and architect data pipelines for optimal efficiency.
  • Crafting, developing, and managing scalable data solutions within the Azure ecosystem.
  • Utilizing your Azure expertise to optimize data storage, processing, and retrieval, delivering top-notch performance.
  • Ensuring the integrity and security of data, aligning with industry standards and regulations.
  • Orchestrating the migration, transformation, and integration of data from existing on-premise sources to the Azure cloud.
  • Partnering with stakeholders to uncover possibilities for data-driven insights and enhancements.
  • Providing valuable technical guidance and mentorship to team members as necessary.
Qualifications:
  • A proven track record as a Data Engineer, showcasing a deep proficiency in Azure cloud technologies.
  • Profound familiarity with Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, Azure Databricks, among others.
  • Strong coding abilities in languages such as Python, SQL, or Spark.
  • Adeptness in data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing principles.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, coupled with an innate proactive approach to challenges.
  • Outstanding communication aptitudes, facilitating effective collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Possession of relevant Azure certifications would be an advantageous asset.
