What you\'ll be doing

As an Azure Data Architect, you\'ll be responsible for designing, developing and supporting a corporate data warehouse for the business by providing access to data from a variety of databases and a single centralised data warehouse. You will also take the lead as the data expert as part of our client\'s current CRM project.

What our client is looking for

In order to be successful in this role, you\'ll need the following skills and experience

• Extensive experience in data warehouse architecture
• A background in data warehouse design (eg dimensional modelling) and data mining
• Experience of implementing service business technology to share information across different database platforms
• In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework
• Knowledge of SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
• A strong understanding of other general DB concepts such as stored procedures, joins, views, indexes and triggers
• This role requires someone with a Degree in a computing related discipline (specifically around data warehouse management/information systems) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
