Marketing Manchester has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced B2B Marketing Manager to join the team.



You will play a key role in positioning Greater Manchester as a world-class destination for business growth, relocation, and foreign direct investment (FDI).



This will involve developing, delivering and evaluating effective marketing plans that promote Manchester domestically and internationally as a key investment opportunity.



We're looking for someone with a passion for place marketing and a strong background in B2B, who can implement and elevate our strategy across key growth sectors and drive forward promotion of Greater Manchester's investment opportunities.


Please note that UK and overseas travelling will be required as part of this role.




Key Responsibilities:




Lead the development and execution of integrated B2B marketing plans that drive leads. Promote Greater Manchester nationally and internationally as a hub for investment, innovation, and business relocation. Build and manage effective partnerships and stakeholder relationships to ensure alignment and collaboration on campaigns and collateral. Manage E-CRM systems and marketing databases, ensuring targeted and timely communications. Work closely with internal teams (Finance, Design, Digital, etc.) to ensure activities are delivered on time and within budget. Monitor and report on the impact of campaigns and projects to internal and external stakeholders. Champion brand consistency across all campaigns and partner activities, ensuring adherence to the Manchester brand guidelines.

About You:




Minimum 5 years' experience in a marketing or communications role (or equivalent capability). Previous experience managing B2B marketing plans and campaigns Comfortable working with a large network of public and private sector stakeholders A confident, resourceful communicator who thrives on building relationships and delivering high-quality outcomes. Understanding of economic development, inward investment, real estate or place marketing is highly desirable.
