Who are we looking for?
ENGAGE is looking for a hands-on, result-driven engineer to lead the transformation of our SaaS Deployments Operations. You are an engineer looking for the opportunity to make a real business impact while evolving your career in SaaS process engineering and scalability within a small but leading technology company.
You have a background in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Civil Engineering or similar, and are very interested to apply your systems thinking, automation mindset, and problem-solving capabilities in a SaaS environment.
You thrive in cross-functional environments, enjoy building scalable systems. You are passionate about optimisation, automation, and helping systems scale to support millions of users.
This role would also suit someone without the engineering background, but with previous experience in a similar technical support role and looking to take a step in their career with a leadership role.
The Role
You will lead both SaaS Process Engineering (70% focus) and SaaS Support Engineering (30% focus) working with a small team as self-serve use of the platform is implemented. Over time your role will evolve to be 90% focused on SaaS process engineering.
SaaS Process Engineering Responsibilities:
Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies and optimise deployment processes
Automation: Automate manual tasks and workflows for Deployment Operations
Scalability & Self-serve: Design scalable, self-serve deployment systems
Monitor and Performance: Implement and monitor process performance metrics
Data Analysis: Leverage data to drive continuous improvement
Collaboration: Work closely with all cross-functional teams
SaaS Support Engineering Responsibilities:
Troubleshooting and resolution: Troubleshoot technical issues and collaborate on resolutions
Customer Communication: Communicate with clients and internal stakeholders clearly
Escalation: Escalate and document product bugs or system concerns
Documentation: Improve documentation and internal support processes
Support the team during peak periods and staff leave
What success looks like?
SaaS deployments are self-serve and scalable
Deployment Support is limited to Platform Bugs and Feature Requests
Collaboration with the Strategy and Product Teams is smooth, supportive and fruitful
Scalable Deployment Operations systems are in place
Customer satisfaction is high through efficient SaaS delivery and support

What you will bring to the team
A degree and hands-on experience in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Civil Engineering or similar) OR A degree in a professional discipline, but with some previous relevant experience.
Track record in process improvement and scalability
A systems thinker who designs for scale, performance and reliability
Experience or interest in using AI and automation tools to streamline operations
Excellent communication, collaboration, and analytical skills
Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-impact environment
Contracted Hours:
40 hours per week from 09:00 - 18:00 Monday to Friday, working UK time
* 1 hour lunch break from 1pm to 2pm
