Playtech is looking for a proactive

B2C Head of Sportsbook

-- a strategic sports enthusiast with an eye for detail, ready to take full ownership of the Sportsbook vertical, focusing on the launch of SunBets (News UK) in the first instance. You will manage financial planning, budgeting, and P&L responsibilities while driving player activity and engagement. By developing innovative promotions, ensuring content relevancy, and delivering outstanding player experiences, you will play a key role in shaping the success of our Sportsbook offering.

Your influential mission. You will...



Manage Sportsbook P&L, budget, and player engagement KPIs. Develop and implement the Sportsbook vision and strategy across Product, Operations, Acquisition, Retention, Content, CRM, and Cross-Sell. Produce and present periodic financial, promotional, and budgetary reports to the senior team. Oversee the daily management of the Sportsbook team and digital operations. Monitor and present market trends and product developments, both local and global. Handle CS, Risk, Payments, Fraud, and issue management and resolution. Ensure quality control for all Sportsbook content, CRM, and marketing materials. Collaborate closely with Marketing, CRM, CS, and Product teams to ensure the Sports strategy is planned, communicated, understood, and marketed effectively. Manage third-party commercial agreements and relationships. Own the Sports product roadmap for platform, player management, and marketing tools. Ensure product and process quality by verifying tickets are correctly raised, tracked, and closed (incidents, new features, bugs).

Demonstrate proven Sportsbook management expertise. Communicate clearly with strong presentation skills and competence in Excel and PowerPoint. Lead as a personable, inclusive, and transparent manager. Understand sportsbook players and behaviors across PM/IP, Multi/SGL, channel, market, sport, and player segments. Recognize player risk trends and profiling with good analytical insight. Apply strong numeracy and analytical skills to make data- and evidence-based decisions. Act autonomously and take responsibility for your actions. Organize effectively, working to tight deadlines and managing Sports team time in line with key events. Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
