Overview


We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated part-time associate and self-employed CBT accredited therapist with EMDR training or EMDR therapist with CBT training to join our team. You want flexible working to achieve or to expand your dream of being independent practitioners or self-employed associate psychotherapists. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and demonstrate leadership qualities while developing and implementing effective care plans tailored to meet the individual needs of clients. This role is essential in providing therapeutic support and guidance, fostering a safe and nurturing environment for personal growth and healing.

Duties



Carrya caseload of clients for face-to-face CBT, EMDR and/or a combination of CBT and EMDR. The face-to-face brief assessment or treatment fee is 55 per session. You may decide to have a protected clinic day when you see your face-to-face clients. There will be Health City's work laptop during your clinic day for you to use at Pepper Street, Canary Wharf or you can bring your own secured laptop to the clinic. Our sessional rate per 50 minutes therapy session takes into account our duties and the therapist's duties for the private practice. The therapist focuses on working with the clients. We focus on marketing and providing clients.*
Conduct assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs and develop personalised care plans. Work with a minimum of one client per week. There is an opportunity to increase the number of clients as long as you do not compromise your self-care and wellbeing in the context of other job roles or activities you are undertaking elsewhere. Provide individual therapy sessions, utilising evidence-based therapeutic techniques. Maintain accurate and confidential client records, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care for clients. Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve desired outcomes. Stay informed about the latest developments in therapeutic practices and mental health trends.

Qualifications



BABCP or BACP accreditation in CBT, but sufficient skills in EMDR. Alternatively, EMDR UK/Europe practitioner registration, but sufficient skills in CBT. At least one years' post qualified psychological assessment and treatment experiences. Proven experience in a therapeutic setting is preferred. Strong IT skills for managing client records and documentation effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients. Demonstrated leadership abilities in guiding clients through their therapeutic journey. A commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical guidelines.
