to join our nursery team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about early years and has
at least 1 year of hands-on experience
working with children aged
0-2.5 years

You will play a key role in providing high-quality care, learning, and development in line with the
Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
, while ensuring children feel safe, nurtured, and supported during their early development.
Experience & Requirements:
Essential:
Minimum
1 year experience
working in a babies and/or tweenies room
Good understanding of
child development from birth to 2.5 years
Experience working within the
EYFS framework
Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
Ability to work well as part of a team
Desirable:
Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare qualification (or working towards)
Paediatric First Aid
Experience using nursery observation or learning journal systems
Key Responsibilities:
Provide a
safe, caring, and stimulating environment
for babies and tweenies
Plan and deliver
age-appropriate activities
to support learning and development
Carry out
observations, assessments, and learning records
in line with EYFS
Support children's
daily routines
, including feeding, changing, toileting, and sleep routines
Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
Ensure
safeguarding, health & safety, and welfare requirements
are met at all times
Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the room
Support children's emotional wellbeing and promote positive behaviour
Follow all nursery policies, procedures, and professional standards
