We are seeking passionate and dedicated Baby and Preschool Swimming Teachers and Level 1 & 2 Award Swimming Teachers to join our Award Winning Swim School based in the North East and surrounding areas.

Our classes are loved by grown ups and children, and that's because of one thing - our amazing teachers!

Locations

We are looking for teachers to cover

Devon, Darlington, Durham, North Tyneside, South Tyneside and Trimdon Grange and other areas as we expand

- hours vary depending on location.

Some areas already have established classes with regular hours while others are growing rapidly, offering the chance to build on hours. Our lessons run during term time with a mixture of weekday and weekend hours with the option to teach additional hours during the summer holidays.

Pay starts from 18 per hour for Baby and Preschool Teachers and 13 for level 1 and 2.

The Role

The ideal candidate will play a key role in nurturing young minds, encouraging a love for swimming, and creating a safe and engaging environment for babies from 12 weeks through to older children. Play-based learning and structured activities are used to support their development.

Duties

Teach fun, structured and engaging lessons that promote social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development Help children to learn to love the water while developing essential swimming and water safety skills Build strong, trusting relationships with parents and children, providing a consistent, supportive experience Develop water confidence in a nurturing, playful environment Instil vital water safety skills in children and grown ups Represent our brand values: warmth, fun, safety, professionalism and positivity Work as part of our friendly, enthusiastic and supportive team

Requirements

A background in working with children or customer service is helpful but not essential STA or Swim England qualifications - but we will train the right person Enhanced DBS check and teacher reach and rescue will be required Must have reliable transport to our venues Strong commitment to swimming, water safety and positive early years learning
