Job Description
Mini Swimming are looking for a new teacher to join our expanding team. We are looking to recruit at least one new teacher to work at least 2-3 shifts per week, in our Colchester pools. The successful candidate will already have the professional qualifications, STA Baby PreSchool and STA Award (although we would consider candidates with only one qualification and we can help you obtain the second one). We offer full in-house training.
The shift patterns would be as follows:-
Mondays 9.30am to 1.45pm (Mainly teaching with some assisting hours)
Mondays 3.30pm to 6pm (All Teaching)
Saturdays 8.30-2.00 (All Teaching)
More shifts may be available but please only apply if you can do these hours.
The role would be aimed at teaching both babies/toddlers from aged 6 weeks to 4 years old and primary school aged children from 4 years to 11 years.
This is not a school day job so please do not apply if you are looking for just a school hours job. Classes run up to 47 weeks of the year.
This is an all year round role and not suitable to University students who do not live year round in Colchester.
Candidates must have a passion for working with children and a love of swimming. Experience of working with children or high level competitive swimming personally is a must.
Candidates do not need to have the qualifications as yet as extensive pool training and professional training will be given.
Candidates must be really willing to work hard, learn and master their new craft and be committed to being the absolute best teacher possible. Candidates will be assigned a mentor to guide and develop them but they must bring to the party the effort and energy to practice and learn at home to boost their pool efforts.

Pay: 15.00-20.00 per hour
