to join our team in the
Baby Room

Essential Requirements:
Level 3 qualification in Childcare
(required)
Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and health & safety
Pediatric First Aid qualification (or willingness to obtain)
Warm, bubbly personality with excellent teamwork and leadership skills
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Management
Lead and support your room team, setting a positive and professional example
Oversee planning, observations, and record keeping for your team
Ensure smooth daily routines and maintain high standards of care
Keep staff informed of all relevant updates and decisions
Conduct room meetings and maintain meeting minutes
Manage staff performance to ensure ratios and standards are upheld
Childcare & Curriculum
Welcome children and families daily and support with settling in
Act as a key person, building strong relationships with your key children and families
Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that support children's development
Encourage communication and language development
Organise creative displays and showcase children's work
Health & Safety
Ensure the nursery, including the baby room and garden, is clean, safe, and well-maintained
Support children with hygiene routines, nappy changes, and toilet training
Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness at all times
Team & Communication
Support and mentor students and junior staff
Ensure all team members follow nursery policies and procedures
Attend staff meetings and training, and share key information with your team
Liaise effectively with parents, carers, and outside agencies (e.g., Ofsted)
Other Duties
Step in for the Deputy or Room Coordinator when required
Report concerns to the management team promptly
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
Take responsibility for tasks as delegated by management
