Chrysalis Nursery is a caring, family run children's day nursery located in Loughton We are dedicated to nurturing and educating children aged 3 months to 5 years, fostering a safe and stimulating environment that supports early development and learning. We currently have an Outstanding Ofsted rating and are looking for someone special to join our baby room team when a member goes on maturity leave (this is a permanent position).
Responsibilities
Provide attentive and personalized care to children, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development.
Support children's emotional and social development through positive interactions.
Collaborate with colleagues and parents to create a cohesive care environment.
Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily activities.
Adhere to all health, safety, and safeguarding policies.
Contribute to the planning and organization of nursery activities.
Foster an inclusive environment that respects diversity and individual needs.
Qualifications
Proven experience working with young children in a nursery or childcare setting.
Strong communication skills in English.
Knowledge of early childhood education principles.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
A caring, patient, and enthusiastic attitude.
Relevant childcare qualifications or certifications are preferred, ideally a Level 3.

We are close to public transport links (central line and bus links) and are open 52 weeks (closed for bank holidays) and hours are between 7:30am-6:30pm on a shift basis 5 days a week.
