Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Baby Room Practitioner to join our team. The position is for around 35 hours per week, and is an all year round position. However, there is also the flexibility for this to be a term time only position . The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and early childhood education to infants, fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. This role offers an opportunity to work closely with young children, supporting their developmental milestones and ensuring their well-being in a caring setting.

Duties

Supervise and care for infants in a safe and nurturing environment, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote early childhood development, including sensory play, social interaction, and basic educational activities. Maintain accurate records of children's progress, routines, and any concerns related to health or behavior. Follow all health and safety protocols, including administering first aid when necessary. Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages learning and socialization. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's daily activities, progress, and any issues that arise. Ensure the baby room is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies to facilitate smooth daily operations.

Experience

Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar early childhood settings is preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in infant care. Certification in first aid is highly desirable; ongoing training will be provided if needed. Demonstrated ability to nurture, teach, and care for infants within a structured environment.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.21-12.85 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 35 per week
