Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Baby Room Practitioner to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will provide a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment for Babies , supporting their developmental milestones through attentive caregiving and educational activities. This role requires a strong understanding of childhood development and experience working with young children in a daycare or classroom setting. The Baby Room Practitioner will collaborate with colleagues to ensure high-quality care and foster positive experiences for each child.

Duties

Provide attentive care to, including feeding, nappy changing, and comforting as needed Implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and cognitive development Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment in accordance with health and safety regulations Observe and document each child's progress, behaviors, and developmental milestones Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's daily experiences and developmental progress organizing activities, managing routines, and encouraging positive behavior Assist with settling in new children and transitioning them smoothly into the classroom setting working with team members to plan activities that align with early childhood education standards

Skills

Experience working with children in early years, Babies or under 2's Ability to provide first aid and respond effectively to emergencies (certification preferred) communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members Compassionate caregiving approach with patience and nurturing qualities Background in early childhood education Ability to manage behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and behavior management strategies
