Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Baby Room Practitioners to join our early childhood education team. In this role, you will provide a nurturing and safe environment for infants, supporting their developmental milestones through engaging activities and attentive care. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrable experience & clear passion for working with babies from 3 months upwards.

Responsibilities

Provide attentive care and supervision for infants and toddlers in the baby room setting Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment Follow all health and safety regulations, including first aid procedures when necessary Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, needs, and daily activities Support children's individual needs through personalized caregiving strategies Assist with nappies, feeding, nap times, and other routine care tasks Collaborate with team members to create a cohesive educational experience

Skills

Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or classroom settings Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in infant care and toddler care Strong classroom management skills to foster positive behavior and social skills Paediatric First aid certification is preferred; willingness to obtain certification if not already certified Experience with special education or working with children with extra needs is a bonus Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members Compassionate caregiving attitude with patience and adaptability
