Position: Back of House Allocator

Contract Type: Permanent - Full Time

Location: Bristol Airport

Shift Pattern: Rotational, 4 on 4 off (PM shifts 8pm - 8am)

PLEASE NOTE: The role is based within an Airport. You will be required to under-go Security Vetting Processes ( including a criminal record check) if you are to be successful for this position.

DHL work in partnership with easyJet at Bristol Airport to provide all ground handling within their Bristol operation. No two days on our Aviation contract are the same! You will play an integral role in the ground handling operation, working to tight timeframes but delivering fantastic results.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

Exceptional performance delivered by smart allocation of colleagues to tasks Line management of front line colleagues Cross utilisation of skill to drive us forward as a station and not individual departments Daily Management of sick lines and collation of absence reports Ability to allocate manually in times of disruption Fair management of tasks across colleagues and shifts Proficient planning of ad hock tasks e.g. training, HR Meetings etc Good team player essential alongside smart use of common sense and initiative to deliver performance

Aviation experience is a must Be passionate about customer service Excellent communication skills at all levels Be calm, friendly and professional Excellent organisation skills Ability to quickly and accurately react to any given situation Work well within a team and as an individual

SECURITY PROCESS TO WORK WITHIN AVIATION AND TRAVEL AT DHL

Be able to provide 5 years address history Be able to provide 5 years reference history (employment/education/benefit claim/character) To obtain a full airside ID
