We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Back of House Team Member to join our dynamic kitchen team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our culinary operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for food preparation, maintaining high standards of food safety, and assisting in meal preparation to deliver exceptional dining experiences to our guests.
Duties
Assist in the preparation of meals and ingredients, ensuring all food is prepared to the highest standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area, adhering to strict hygiene protocols.
Follow food safety guidelines to ensure all dishes are safe for consumption.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service and efficient kitchen operations.
Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering supplies as needed.
Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food safety practices.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential.
Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills.
Understanding of food safety regulations and practices.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards helping others.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
