We are a dynamic company on a rapid growth trajectory and are looking for a talented Backend Developer to join our team ASAP. This is a critical role where you will be instrumental in developing the core technology that powers our business from day one.

About the Role:

As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the server-side logic and infrastructure for our applications. You will collaborate with a passionate team of engineers and product managers to deliver high-quality, performant, and secure solutions.

What You'll Do:

Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code in Java and/or Python*.

Develop and manage APIs and services that are the backbone of our platform.
Collaborate on the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding, debugging, and testing.
Integrate data storage solutions (e.g., SQL, NoSQL databases).
Identify and troubleshoot system bottlenecks and performance issues.
Work closely with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements.
Contribute to architectural decisions and champion best practices in software development.
What We're Looking For:

Commercial experience as a Backend Developer, Software Engineer, or similar role.
Strong proficiency in Java and/or Python*.

Experience with backend frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot for Java, Django/Flask for Python).
Solid understanding of RESTful API design and development.
Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and SQL.
Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
A problem-solving mindset and a collaborative team spirit.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fully remote setting.
Available to start at short notice.*

Bonus Points (Nice-to-Haves):

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker.
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with testing frameworks.
