Catering Baker Wanted
As we gear up for the Christmas season, we have a permanent, full-time position available for a Catering Baker here at TH Carson Butchers, Dalbeattie.
The role involves batch making and baking pies and other savoury delights - both for the shop and for customer orders.
As this is an immediate start, no experience is necessary as full training will be provided, so if you're reliable, hardworking, and enjoy a busy, fast-paced, and friendly environment, we'd love to hear from you!
Duties
Prepare and produce various large batches of baked goods, ensuring high-quality results. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and cleaned after use.
Experience
Previous experience in batch food production is an advantage, however full training will be provided. Familiarity with baking techniques and principles of food safety is an advantage, however full training will be provided. Strong organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure in a busy environment are crucial.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From 12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
