We are seeking a passionate and skilled Baker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and baking, with a keen understanding of food safety and production processes. As a Baker, you will be responsible for creating a variety of baked goods that meet our high standards of quality and taste. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment and have a love for baking.

Duties

Prepare and bake a wide range of products, including pastries, cakes, and cookies. Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in taste and presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations. Monitor inventory levels of baking supplies and ingredients, placing orders as necessary. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely production and delivery of baked goods. Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet established standards. Assist in the development of new recipes and menu items based on seasonal ingredients or customer preferences.

Requirements

Proven bakery or kitchen experience preferably however training will be provided. Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in food production. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. A passion for baking and an eagerness to learn new skills. Flexibility to work various shifts both weekdays and weekends
