Tori's is a small family bakery in Hillsborough. We have a history as the village bakery and it is important to us to maintain this. We are customer-focused, welcoming, and innovative in our baking. It is a fast-paced, learning environment. We bake a wide range of goods within the shop for our customers. We also supply a range of coffee carts and cafes. As well as being busy with bakes we also offer a range of breakfast and lunch options to our customers.

About the Role

We're looking for a passionate and dedicated

Baker

to join our team. This hands-on role involves:

Baking a variety of products including traybakes, cookies, croissants, and breads Decorating and preparing cakes and other baked goods for both retail and wholesale supply Packaging and organizing customer and wholesale orders Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization in the bakery Managing stock levels and placing ingredient orders Assisting with customer service, including preparing hot drinks, smoothies, and milkshakes (full training provided)

What We're Looking For

Previous bakery experience (minimum 1 year in a bakery setting or a relevant qualification) Baking experience and passion for producing high-quality goods Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene certification (essential) Excellent organization and teamwork skills Enthusiasm to learn and contribute to a supportive team environment A full driving license (desirable but not essential)

Pay: 12.21-15.00 per hour
