We are looking for an experienced Baker for a new bakery due to open in Laugharne in March 2026. If you love the smell of freshly baked bread and have a passion for baking then this exciting opportunity might be just right to develop your skills even further . The successful candidate will be involved in preparing and baking ensuring high standards of food safety and quality are maintained at all times.
Duties
Manage the Bakery on a day to day basis
Bake and assemble food items according to specified recipes and standards
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing utensils and equipment
Follow food safety regulations diligently to ensure hygiene standards are upheld
Contribute to the baking process, including preparing doughs and baked goods as required
Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying management of shortages
Ensure all food preparation areas are kept sanitised and compliant with health and safety guidelines
Requirements
Competent baker skills, mix and mould dough to make bakery products
Previous experience in food production, food preparation,
Knowledge of kitchen safety procedures and food hygiene standards
Experience in baking at least 2 yrs
Ability to work efficiently, use own initiative, multitask and be creative
Good organisational skills with attention to detail
A passion for baking and a desire to learn new baking techniques
