Key Responsibilities
Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, and other baked goods using both traditional and modern techniques
Develop and test new recipes in collaboration with the team
Mix, shape, and proof doughs; monitor baking times and oven temperatures for perfect results
Decorate and finish pastries using icings, glazes, and toppings
Ensure all baked products are presented attractively and meet company quality standards
Communicate weekly needs, ingredient usage, and production feedback to the management team
Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe work environment at all times
Skills & Experience
Proven experience as a
Baker
or in a similar role
Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment
Understanding of
food safety and hygiene practices
Ability to work
independently
and manage time effectively
Proactive problem-solving and clear communication skills
Creativity and attention to detail, especially in presentation and decoration
Culinary training or professional cook experience preferred
Familiarity with restaurant or cafe kitchen operations is an advantage
