Milestone Rathfriland is a well-known food destination with an award-winning in-store bakery producing high-quality cakes, cupcakes, traybakes, buns, and celebration items. Due to continued growth, we are recruiting creative and reliable individuals to join our busy bakery team.
Responsibilities
Assist with baking and preparing cakes, buns, traybakes, cupcakes and other products.
Decorate cakes to a high standard using icing, piping, fillings, and creative finishing techniques.
Follow recipes and production schedules accurately.
Maintain excellent product quality, consistency and presentation.
Keep work areas clean, organised and compliant with food hygiene standards.
Rotate and label stock correctly.
Work efficiently as part of a team to meet daily production targets.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
Passion for baking and cake decorating.
Good attention to detail and pride in presentation.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong reliability, timekeeping and teamwork.
Desirable:
Previous bakery, kitchen or cake-decorating experience.
Basic knowledge of food hygiene (training can be provided).
Experience icing or finishing celebration cakes.
