Summary

We are seeking a

Casual part time Bakery Assistant

to join our team at RH Thaxter LTD (Spar) in Dersingham for

holiday cover

. Perhaps you're already in employment or are self employed and are looking for extra shifts.

The shifts will be any of the following: 7am - 2pm, 8am - 3pm or 1pm - 7pm. Some will be at weekends.

Due to the nature of this position, some weeks there may be 2 - 3 shifts, and other weeks there may be none at all.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and baking of a variety of bread and pastries. Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are met during food production. Help maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment. Support the team in managing inventory and stock levels for bakery supplies. Engage with customers to provide excellent service and promote bakery products. Participate in training sessions to enhance baking skills and knowledge.

Requirements

Experience in food preparation or a similar role is preferred. Basic knowledge of baking techniques and culinary practices. Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety standards. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor.

Pay: Up to 12.21 per hour
