Job Description

Bakery Counter Assistant Required - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 1pm - 6pm. (7pm finishes over the Christmas Season 14th November - 5th January) Sundays 8am - 1pm.

Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Bakery Assistant to join our team at Millets Farm Centre. Located in the heart of our bustling farm shop, you will play a vital role in producing high-quality baked goods while ensuring excellent customer service. Your contributions will help maintain our reputation for freshness and quality.

Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the bakery counter area to ensure food safety standards are met. Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their bakery selections. Support the team in managing inventory levels of bakery supplies and ingredients. Help with the display and merchandising of baked goods to attract customers. Participate in upselling bakery products to enhance sales opportunities.

Requirements

Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential.
