We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Bakery Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support the daily operations of our bakery, ensuring that our products are prepared and presented to the highest standards. You will work closely with the bakery team to create delicious baked goods while maintaining a clean and efficient workspace.
Duties
Assist in the preparation of various baked goods, including bread, pastries, and cakes.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and hygienic work environment.
Help with serving customers and providing excellent customer service.
Engage in upselling bakery items to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
Collaborate with team members to manage inventory and restock supplies as needed.
Perform basic math calculations for measuring ingredients accurately.
Support kitchen operations by maintaining equipment and utensils in good condition.
Demonstrate effective time management skills to ensure timely production of baked goods.
Skills
Experience in food preparation or culinary roles is highly desirable.
Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is advantageous.
Familiarity with food safety practices is essential for maintaining quality standards.
Strong basic math skills for accurate ingredient measurement.
Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
A passion for baking and creating high-quality products is a plus.
