Delivery Driver

- Early Morning starts

Location: Wellington Road , Dunston

Shift Pattern: We have full & part time shifts, over a 6 day week Mon-Sat

Due to continued growth we are now looking for another reliable and proactive Delivery Driver to join our close-knit team. This is a full-time role, ideal for someone seeking consistent morning hours and a chance to contribute to a growing local business with a strong reputation for quality and service.

Key Responsibilities:

Pack and organise orders for delivery and collection Load and deliver orders to local customers around Gateshead Assist with stock handling, maintaining cleanliness, and keeping the bakery tidy Uphold excellent food hygiene and safety standards at all times Safely operate delivery vehicles (vans/commercial vehicles) to transport goods to customers and trade partners. Communicate clearly with customers and the wider team to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. Carry out routine vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues. Maintain delivery records and flag any discrepancies or issues encountered during transit. Support the Bakery team with light tasks including sorting and preparing deliveries when needed.

What We're Looking For

A full, clean UK driving licence. A friendly, can-do attitude and a commitment to excellent customer service. Good physical stamina - ability to lift and move stock as needed. Strong communication and organisational skills. Punctuality and reliability are a must. Previous delivery or logistics experience is helpful, but not essential.
