We are seeking a dedicated Bakery Operative to join our vibrant bakery team. This role involves supporting the daily production of baked goods, ensuring food safety standards are maintained, and assisting with the smooth operation of bakery processes. Responsibilities

Assist in preparing ingredients and baking products according to established recipes and procedures Support the production team in mixing, shaping, and decorating baked goods Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in line with HACCP guidelines Operate basic bakery equipment safely and efficiently, including mixers and ovens Ensure all products meet quality standards before packaging or display Keep work areas clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations Assist with stock rotation and inventory management of ingredients and supplies Follow all food safety protocols diligently to ensure customer satisfaction and compliance

Experience

Prior experience in food production or bakery environments is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided Knowledge of HACCP principles and food safety regulations is desirable Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with bakery equipment is a plus Basic maths skills for measuring ingredients accurately and managing quantities effectively A proactive attitude with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting

Pay: 12.21-12.50 per hour
