Bakery Operative
Job Description
We are looking for a Bakery Operative to join our award winning team. We are a family run bakery business producing quality products for our own 4 shops and coffee shop, along with a small number of wholesale customers. We take great pride in our work and strive to be one of the best bakeries in Scotland.
Bakery Operative required to assist in the bakery.
Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting in the bakery, namely the production of pastry cases and pie shells
Maintaining an organised, clean and tidy work area
Assisting in the clean down of the bakery at the end of the shift
Job Requirements:
- Be able to work well as part of a small production team.
- Be well motivated to work efficiently with other staff.
- Effectively ensuring correct stock rotation.
- Ensure health and safety, and hygiene regulations are enforced, maintaining high standards of cleanliness by managing a HACCP system along with the manager.
- Capable of heavy lifting.
- Previous experience preferred but not essential as full training will be given.
Contract: Permanent
Hours:
26-30 per week with the opportunity to pick up overtime during busy trading periods and to cover holidays.
Hours-
5.00am-12.00 noon or 6.00am-2.00pm hours vary depending on task that week
Days-
Mon, Tue, Thu & Fri
