Location: Bradford
Speedibake are recruiting for Bakery Operatives. As a Bakery Operative you will safely and efficiently operate bakery plant equipment, complete paperwork and perform standard checks in order to guarantee quality. The ideal candidate will have previously worked in a manufacturing bakery environment.
Key Accountabilities

Engage in the Safety-First culture and comply with internal policies and procedures Safely operate bakery plant equipment Complete paperwork and perform standard checks in order to guarantee quality To deliver product to required standards To contribute to the delivery of a production plan Ensure that their own, development and training needs are identified To actively participate and contribute in the sharing of "Best Practice" within manufacturing
The Right Person

Essential
Demonstrate a high level of Health and Food Safety awareness Undertanding of the baking process in a manufacturing setting A good level of maths and english literacy skills Information recording skills
Advantageous
An in-depth understanding and application of food hygiene/GMP/(ABSS standards) Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (CIEH Level 2) IOSH or equivalent Ability to demonstrate basic engineering competencies/mechanical empathy Understanding of Continuous Improvement techniques * Computer Literate
