Job Description

We are looking for a Bakery Operative to join our award winning team. We are a family run bakery business producing quality products for our own 4 shops and coffee shop, along with a small number of wholesale customers. We take great pride in our work and strive to be one of the best bakeries in Scotland.

Bakery Operative required to assist in the bakery and confectionary. Will also be required to deliver orders to our own 4 shops and wholesale customers.

Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting in the confectionary/bakery Assisting in the clean down of the confectionary/bakery Laying out and packing delivery boards at the start of your shift Loading the van Delivering orders to own shops and wholesale customers Vehicle checks Delivering on time and to agreed quality standards Collection of waste products and empty boards Emptying and cleaning the van
Job Requirements:

- Be able to work well as part of a small production team.

- Be well motivated to work efficiently with other staff.

- Effectively ensuring correct stock rotation.

- Ensure health and safety, and hygiene regulations are enforced, maintaining high standards of cleanliness by managing a HACCP system along with the manager.

- Capable of some heavy lifting.

- Has a full clean UK driving license.

- Be over 25 for insurance purposes.

- Previous experience preferred but not essential as full training will be given.

Contract: Permanent

Hours:
24 per week with the opportunity to pick up overtime during busy trading periods and to cover holidays.

5.00am-11.00am
Days-
Mon, Tue, Thu & Fri

Overtime is available to cover holidays and busy trading periods

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From 15,238.08 per year
