We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Bakery Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our bakery, ensuring that our products are prepared and presented to the highest standards. This position is perfect for individuals who have a passion for baking and customer service, and who thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of various baked goods, including bread, pastries, and cakes. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bakery workspace, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Support the team in packaging and displaying finished products attractively. Provide excellent customer service by preparing food orders and serving customers at the counter. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management when reordering is necessary. Collaborate with team members to ensure safe and efficient workflow during busy periods.
Experience
Previous experience in a bakery or catering outlet is advantageous but not essential. Strong communication skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
