Qualified ballet teacher wanted must have experience working with children.

Must be registered with ISTD / RAD

Candidates should hold a current DBS and have relevant qualifications to enter children into exams.

Canidates must also be able to relate to different ethnic groups.

Please note the ballet class age range 4yrs -11yrs

The position is part time and the rate of pay is 30 per hour.
Saturday's 10.am -12.am based in north west London.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement engaging ballet and contemporary dance lesson plans for children of varying skill levels. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity and self-expression. Provide constructive feedback to students to enhance their dance techniques and performance skills. Monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs. Ensure the safety and well-being of all students during classes and activities. Collaborate with parents and guardians to discuss student development and address any concerns.

Summary

As a Ballet Teacher, you will be responsible for nurturing and developing the artistic talents of students through engaging dance instruction. Reporting to the Dance Program Director, your role will focus on creating a positive learning environment that fosters creativity and self-expression. With core skills in dance technique and choreography, you will guide students of various ages, particularly children, in mastering ballet and contemporary styles. Your experience in childcare will enhance your ability to connect with young learners, ensuring a supportive and enriching educational experience.
