. This role provides the opportunity to inspire children through ballet, helping them develop balance, coordination, confidence, and grace in a fun and supportive environment.
The club runs for
one hour per week, Thursday, 3:30pm - 4:30pm
, giving children a weekly opportunity to explore ballet techniques and enhance their movement skills.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise children during ballet sessions in a safe and encouraging environment.
Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that develop technique, posture, flexibility, and self-expression.
Encourage confidence, discipline, and enjoyment in dance and performance.
Communicate effectively with parents and school staff about children's progress.
Ensure the ballet space and equipment are safe, organized, and ready for use.
Experience & Skills
Experience teaching or leading ballet sessions for children.
Ability to engage and motivate children in a structured, fun, and creative way.
Strong communication skills in English for interacting with children, parents, and school staff.
A background in dance education, ballet performance, or teaching qualifications is highly desirable.
