This is an exciting opportunity to work within Milestones Mental Health Services as Deputy Manager in one of our Nursing Services, Tramways. You will work alongside the Registered Manager to oversee the running of the service.



As Deputy Manager, you will be part of the Management Team and accountable for the safe, effective and personalised running of the service, in line with Milestones Trust's values and organisational priorities. You will lead the team to ensure all compliance and management responsibilities are met and service KPI's are consistently achieved. Ensuring that cost effective and high-quality services are provided to the people we support,



The successful Deputy Manager will:



Have extensive experience working in Mental Health Services, and an understanding of Mental Health Strategy as it applies to this role Have experience in assessing and working with people with complex Mental Health need and proven experience of supporting people to achieve outcomes, including effective Risk Management Have previous experience in a management position Be confident in delegating efficiently to achieve outcomes Have strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members, people we support and a range of stakeholders Have experience of managing budgets and efficient rota planning Have experience of Recruitment processes and effective retention of staff Have effective time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure Possess mentoring /coaching skills and the ability to provide a positive and professional role model to other members of staff Have good IT skills and familiar with packages such as Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
