Repairs and installation work on all facilities
Plant & equipment throughout the Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust estate and will also act as the Trust representative in the absence of the Supervisor or when requested to do so as and when the need arises by line management.
Working on the full range of Estates Services equipment, the Plumbing Technician will undertake activities which require comparison of a range of options, complex facts requiring analysis to resolve technical issues in and on multifaceted equipment/situations many of which have a direct impact on patient safety and the built environment.
Responsible for
Calibration and fault finding on a wide range of engineering plant and equipment including various voltage systems, steam raising plant and associated equipment, steam sterilizers, medical gas systems, nurse call systems, lighting, fire detection, building services controls, standby generator plant, heating and ventilation control systems and refrigeration plant.
The post holder will be responsible for undertaking condition surveys, evaluating inspection reports and maintenance repairs, improvement and capital work across the Trust as directed by management, ensuring compliance with Trust safety standards and procedures
