Job overview

An exciting opportunity has become available to join Epsom and St. Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust as a rotational Band 5 Occupational Therapist.
Occupational Therapy plays a vital role in the acute care setting, ensuring that patients experience a seamless and positive journey during their inpatient stay and beyond. Our Occupational Therapists collaborate closely with physiotherapy colleagues, the wider multidisciplinary team, and community partners.
The team provides services across two hospital sites in a diverse range of clinical areas, such as respiratory, cardiac, elderly care, general medicine, renal and surgery. Rotations currently include, General Medicine (including cardiology, and renal care), Orthopaedics/Surgery, Care of the Elderly, Acute Stroke and Bed Based Rehabilitation. We actively work with our community partners to extend the rotation possibilities and opportunities where possible.

We are seeking a motivated and committed individual with the relevant knowledge and skills, and enthusiasm to deliver and support the wider development of the OT service. This may be your first role or you may have previous experience at this level. Please do get in touch either way if you want to learn more before your application.

Candidates awaiting HCPC registration are welcome to apply.
