Twinkleboost CIC is a multi-award-winning charity with a bold mission: to ensure all children start school with the communication skills they need to thrive. We deliver engaging, sensory-based parent-and-child classes, with a strong focus on supporting families from disadvantaged backgrounds and those with children with SEND.

We're looking for an innovative, confident freelance Speech and Language Therapist to join our team from September 2025. You'll have the flexibility to work around school hours while making a meaningful impact through creative projects, session delivery, and professional development support.

Twinkleboost CIC empowers new parents with key language strategies so their children can have better outcomes in life. We provide support to all families but focus on those living in disadvantaged areas or families of children with SEND. We are an innovative organisation, delivering fun sensory based sessions, outdoor communication sessions and online training and support designed to create social change.

We are looking for a confident, reliable, committed and motivated freelance Speech and Language Therapist who can work on their own initiative. You will be a confident and capable practitioner with a passion for supporting children in the early years and you will be comfortable with innovative ways of sharing your skills,

For part of the role, you would be based from home, travelling to community venues, children's centres and occasionally schools and nurseries to deliver parent and child classes for new parents and their children and multi-sensory classes for children with learning disabilities.

For part of the role, you would be working independently to write training programmes for yourself and others to film, and to create programmes for children with early language delay, leading clinical supervision of Speech and Language Therapy Assistants, working with our CEO to develop programmes and training that supports the growth and development of Twinkleboost.

We pride ourselves on being a flexible and family friendly organisation. Delivery of Twinkleboost sessions takes place between 9.30 and 2.30 term-time, so parents can make the school drop offs and pick ups if needed. Development, admin work and Social Media can be done from home whenever is best for you.

We pride ourselves on being an innovative organisation. You must be familiar with technology. You will receive training from our team as well as training from a Clinical Psychologist in Perinatal Mental Health.
